VHF Antenna Using Seawater as Radiator

Posted on January 31, 2011 by Ed, W1PN

Dan, KE6FRY, has designed an antenna using pumped seawater as the radiating element. This could be interesting to some of our antenna mavens in the club. The link for more information is: http://www.public.navy.mil/spawar/Pacific/TechTransfer/ProductsServices/Pages/SeaWaterAntennaSystem.aspx

Be sure to watch the entire video as there is information of interest to hams near the end.
