This past week I received a couple more unexpected contest certificates. If you are like me, you quickly forget which contests you worked and when. The first received was for the Indiana QSO Party for 2013. Yes, I recollect that one. This was an ‘aside’ to last years NEQP. First Place Connecticut, Single-Op High it says. Nice to get. The envelope included a reminder that this years NEQP, INQP and 7th Area contests are on again the same weekend. Get ready!
The second certificate was from the RDXC, the Russian DX Gang. This one says 2012 Multi-Op, Single TX, 4th Place USA. Not a bad return for a fun time with K1DM and W1WBB.
Hope we can put a lot of time together in the upcoming weeks for NEQP and W1AW/1. Coming up Quickly!

Good going, John! When we got home yesterday I also had some more wall paper in the accumulated mail. From the ARRL…
ARRL DX Contest – 2013
First Place
Rhode Island Section
Single Operator Unlimited, High Power
The certificates sure are getting fancy, aren’t they!

Nice job!
You should do really well in NEQP this year with the W1AW/1 call and perhaps the 7QP as well as INQP!
We just got notice that NX6T was #1 California in M/S and were 4th place USA (non-NE). We run INQP, NEQP, 7QP AND ARI contest using CT. N1MM doesn’t have a way to do the ARI contest I guess.
We’ll be listening for your stations this year…

By the way – we came in 2nd in US for Multi-op for ARI – you guys would crush that but it’s the wrong kind of exchange for N1MM. Looks like we came in 1st in CA for INQP as well.
We were distant second from CA for 7QP – I was going to say that we are way too close for AZ/NV where much of the population is but it turns out the guys that crushed us are about 200 miles due north (Los Angeles!).
Enjoy the contests!
