Halleluyah! There are new photos on the website masthead. Looks great! I presume we have John, W1AN to thank…unless it’s by remote control de OK. Also, I was able to post without entering my password. Think that’s different…hopefully a sign that access to the website is easier to locate for recruitment of new members. Speaking of which: anybody know AA1AC in Newport? Worked him on CW this past weekend on 80M in the contest. One more thing on the masthead…suppose we need to graphically change the club call-sign to KE1S. Also, if John is willing, how about a big time ARRL DX Phone Contest multi-2 effort by a large contingent of club members? Out. — John, W1XX

G’morning John:
I agree with your comments about the new pictures. However, I am troubled by your statement that you were able to create the posting without logging on. I just tried to do that here and was blocked from creating the posting until I logged on. I have noticed that if I fail to log off when I leave the site, when I return using the same computer I discover that I am still logged on. Could that possibly be what happened to you? I just logged on, then closed the browser, opened the browser, went to the site and saw that I was still logged on. To Log Out, mouse over your name at the right end of the black bar at the top and click on “Log Out.” Now when you go to the web site again, you will not be logged on.

Yes, I confess that I was able to figure out how to change the photos in the header. You’ll need to be patient as things progress and morph. The learning curve is not easy for me as much of what needs to be done is not intuitive and I’ve long had issues making sense out of what does not make sense. The site will eventually be moved to a new host.
And of course we can do a multi here if interest warrants. I can be ready. Need to talk it up!
