I’d love to help you all out this weekend in WPX, however, I will be out of town attending my grandson’s graduation from Bowdoin College and visiting with our daughter and family in Maine.
Good Luck !!!

OK, tnx! enjoy the graduation trip!
Not sure if results go here. Weather was too good for full time effort.

Mike and I put in some good time this weekend. The conditions were fairly good. Signals to EU were plentiful on 20M but very weak during most of the test. They were much better late in the afternoon each day. Good to see all the activity on 15M. A bad changeover relay on one amp and the loss of a tribander restricted our band change options. Much maintenance has been “deferred.” I hope to find some time this summer to correct a few things. Worked KS1J. Everyone else was probably out enjoying the beautiful holiday weekend weather and graduations whilst we were in the catacombs seeking Qs.

I kept getting copied as “U1SX”. There was some timing glitch in there, and people believe anything for a prefix in WPX. Maybe I should have just gone with it, claiming to be in some semi autonomous Russian republic. Anyhow this is the result of 40 watts to a wire and odd 5 and 10 min. operating breaks from yard work and between family fun and what all. 20 was open all day to Eu but much better luck for me in late afternoon. 40 sounded fb and I wkd VK6LW long path in the final minute. Oh yeah and 6 meters finally opened up Sunday afternoon and I got distracted trying out W1AN’s FT-991 on FT8 for field day prep. — Dave
