Had another commitment Saturday evening, so the show didn’t start until Sunday. Could not find many VE sections. Finally worked PE and DE near the end. Almost had PAC, but he couldn’t quite copy me. Never heard AK. Overall, a bit better than last year, but if I really want to work all those rare or distant sections
I’ll need that tower…
Did change the EQ on my mic settings after Lars suggestion to compress the daylights out of it, but my options on this rig vy limited. Had fun overall, but it’s getting harder to beat my past scores just S&P.

WB2VVV operated SS Phone a bit over the weekend to add to the CTRI Contest Group score.

Had to make one edit to my log to correct the PEI log entry, as that new section was not in my section list on TR.
I operated tuning-up S&P. I did work John W1XX, and he had a great score going as he was managing a good size pile-up.
It was nice to see decent propagation on 20 meters with so many strong signals all the way across the country, and out to Hawaii. It’s always nice to hear the voices of friends that are scattered across the country, and also fun to hear the year first licensed check in the exchange! There were a good number of ops licensed in the past 20 years, which is encouraging. The woodstove in my shack out back kept me very warm.
Best 73, and Happy Thanksgiving, Chris WB2VVV
