Gentlemen,
The assembly of the Bencher Sky Hawk is nearing completion and should be ready to raise this week. I need the help of the CTRI Team to put it into place. All assistance will be greatly appreciated.
I’d like to do it Saturday, 1 June starting about 0900. The weather forecast is for sunny, clear skies; morning temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s; 0% chance of rain and SW winds near 16 mph.
Please let me know if you can help.

James,
I plan on being there but won’t be able to get on the tower with you. I’ve injured my left knee and will be seeing the doc today to try and begin working toward a diagnosis. It shouldn’t prevent me from being on the ground crew as long as I’m careful, but that depends on what he tells me.

Roger 0900… I’ll be there.

The doc says I have injured my MCL (medial collateral ligament) and possibly my meniscus. So tower work is definitely out. Every day the knee feels a little better, so that’s positive, but I’m going to get an MRI to be sure of the extent of the injury. I can help out on the ground crew as long as I’m not the anchor man on the rope 🙂

The antenna raising for Saturday will have to be CANCELLED.
No crew = no party; don’t want to risk injury to anyone with a shorthanded crew.
I’ll have to make new plans.
thanks & 73 James k1sd
Sorry…the situation here dictated a last minute decision by me and I was intending to be there as ground crew. Will be on the lookout for your next attempt. 73! — John, W1XX
