2015 ARRL DX CW Results

I had better put this up on the website before I forget about it. Don’t know how many participated, but please post your results for this contest here by adding a comment/reply to this posting. Also, don’t forget to submit your results to the sponsor. Did not hear NP3U on (yet) but did work Jose, KP4JRS, who several of us met in PR a couple years ago.

Results posted here will be added to the CTRI Champions Leaderboard.

  1. Got home from our vacation early Sunday (3:00 AM). We had been gone a week. When I got up I noticed 2 feet of heavy snow on Garage and Sun Porch roof. So spent better part of day removing that. But I did get in about 45 minutes. This is the first ARRL CW score I have been able to submit is about 5 years! Here it is

  2. The logger program suggests that I spent about 9.3 hours in the contest. Conditions seemed pretty good, but the number of participants seemed somewhat lower than I have seen in the past.

    Comments: Had a handful of “QSY to 160?” requests, so accommodated them for the needed RI mult. Operated in short nighttime spurts only … ignoring any BIC mandates. Best Q was the 5 watt JA at 4 AM. So it was fun without knocking myself out. — John, W1XX

    Wow, terrific conditions and near zero QRN on 160M and 80M. We would have liked
    to spend more time there but needed some sleep so as not to “zombify”
    after a long week. So quit by 1:00AM each nite even with great rates.

    And snow removal added to the weekend chores.
