As some of you experienced or heard, conditions for last weekends Russian DX contest were challenging. Fortunately conditions are rapidly improving for the next big one, the CQ WPX Phone contest. Work everyone everywhere. Multipliers are unique prefixes. I hope all can put some time in the chair. And there is plenty of chair time available here at W1AN/W1DX. I don’t have a special prefix (yet) but high Q rates can be expected.

I’d like to play too. What time would be best? I am not available on Sunday morning, as normal, and Friday evening may not be great, I have to double check. Do you know yet when Mike (KB1RFJ) and John, W1XX will be operating?
I assume you have the headsets with boom mikes already set up. Looking forward to trying a little phone, so long as my voice holds out. The pollen is starting to give me trouble already.

Hi Mike, All will be setup. Will have the FT1000MP on Station 2 and the K3 on Station 1. Any time is good. Just keep me posted when you will arrive.

I was planning on showing up Sat night and staying till I drop or get called home. I’d like to play with the FT1000MP just to understand the non-K3 effect! Haven’t heard from John XX
