We’ve “only” gotten 5 – 6″ in East Greenwich, but it’s still snowing, albeit lightly. The worst should be over around here. They’ve been plowing my street regularly and it is reasonably passable; driveway’s not though. The snow is “supposed” to be less further south of here. I’ll wait to see if I can get out in the morning.
If we want to cancel, so be it. It will be tough to reschedule though since we are booked with Championship Contests every Saturday until our next scheduled meeting at the NK Library on March 12.

I ain’t afraid of no snow.

Sent on the new Sprint Network from my Samsung Galaxy S®4.
I ain’t afraid of no stinkin’ snow either, but I still won’t able to make the meeting tomorrow. We had about 7 inches of very heavy wet snow here in Portsmouth.

The weight of the snow here was much less than advertised. The sky has cleared, providing a beautiful sunset. However, the temperature is plummeting. Anything that was liquid in my driveway is now very solid and slippery. I managed to get one care sort of cleaned off. In the morning, I wouldn’t be surprised to find the car door frozen shut. Oh well, life is hard! K1DM
Well, since we don’t know who plans on going it’s tough to say whether or not we should hold a meeting. I planned on going but I don’t want to be one of three people who show up.

MY plan is to attend and talk money & budgets.
Mike – it’s your call.
I just looked at the NK Library web site. They closed early Friday, but state they will be open at 0900 Saturday. I’ll still call them then and check and pass the word ASAP if closed. If open, I hope to see ya’ll there.
If everyone comes who says so, there should be 5 of us.
K1DM, W1AN, KB1RFJ, NG1G, K1SD. Hardy soles all!
