  1. Put in an intermittent 11.5 hours for this contest. All S&P. Too many other things going on to sit down to getting a run going. Conditions seemed to be OK, but not really great. Heard/worked several club members. Glad to hear John Mills, K1JSM, mixing it up in the brawl.

    Comments:

Limited time but great fun. Lost Europe for much of the contest but lots of CONUS to keep it interesting. Cool having DS5USH, 9M6XRO, and a bunch of JAs call in after finding a small sliver of bandwidth to run on 20 meters late Sunday evening.

Saw W1AN work CA5GRF but didn’t work him (didn’t work John, but I got the Chile mult!). Great to see lots of Rhode Islanders in the contest. KI1G (3), K3IU (2), and K1JSM stopped by from the Club. Also fellow Rhode Islanders W1GSH and W1HY made it into the log.

BIG congratulations to Rick KI1G: 2612 QSOs Total Score 370,904!! WOW!!

    K1SD is: K3; Ten Tec Titan; Skyhawk @ 70′; A4S @ 42′; Inverted Vs 40 and 80.

    Comments:

Lots of activity, Sunday morning started out good to Europe on 10 and 15 but
then SOL pulled the plug on Trans Atlantic propagation on 20-10 meters, things
started to recover near the end of the contest.

James, nice mults on 20. I missed both of those mults.

    Worked K1SD, KS1J, W1AN, W1CTN, K1JSM and W1HY sorry if I missed anyone.

Thanks for all the Q’s and HNY

  5. A very intermittent operation. It took me a while to get accustomed to N1MM and RTTY. Seems it’s been a while. Mike KB1RFJ came by for several hours to keep the chair warm Saturday evening. I didn’t get on during the normally busy Sunday EU morning and rates were unusually slow much of the time with so-so conditions. It was a surprise to have 3D2KM call in Sunday afternoon. worked KI1G, KS1J, K3IU, K1SD.
Congrats to Rick on a great score.
