CQ WPX RTTY this Weekend!!!

Don’t forget the WPX RTTY contest. Conditions should be favorable. I’ll have the stations setup for a M2 this weekend and there will be plenty of chair time available. Permission has been granted for us here to use the NW1E call.  And don’t forget that the clubs new call KE1S may be available. As far as I know it has not yet been reserved for use this weekend! Get on the air and make some noise!

  1. John – what is the best time for me to show up? Would you like me there from the start through ~late Saturday?

  2. I see we used to sponsor a Plaque for this contest

    We should do that again!

  3. Hi John:

You really ought to include the NEWS category so that it will show up when one first logs on. I just saw these emails.

I know that I said I would help out in this contest, but it looks like it will be able to get there early Sunday and then I need to leave NLT 4:00 PM. Who else is going to be helping out?

  4. Ken, OK on Sunday, probably just you and me early. Mike K1DM later in the day. He may stay overnite Saturday. Mike KB1RFJ will be with me overnite Friday.

  5. Guess this is where the scores go. I wasn’t planning on doing much in this contest and Saturday did some house stuuf but it was too cold on Sunday to do anything else. Conditions were actually pretty good with some good openings to EU on 10 meters surprisingly. My 80 meter antenna went down with an earlier snow storm so I had to use the 160 Invert L for a few Q’s on that band. I heard Rick KI1G, W1AN and Ken
