Mike, I won’t be at tomorrow’s meeting. I’m studying for my oral comprehensive exam for my Master’s degree on the 18th.
Mike, KB1RFJ, is going to discuss our establishing an ARRL scholarship fund, and he has my full support for his idea. I think he’s going to ask you to put it on the agenda but I guess this is advance notice.

Hello Mike,
I plan on attending tomorrow.
And as Pat stated I would like to discuss, and vote on, the plan to sponsor a $500/year scholarship through ARRL. I have been talking with the ARRL Scholarship Coordinator, Lauren KB1YDD, and figure we would call it the CTRI / Chris Seeber KA1GEU Memorial Scholarship. I was thinking we’d limit the candidates to:
(1) Region: students from the ARRL Region 1,
(2) License Requirement: General Class or higher, and
(3) Field of Study: Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field
Then maybe we can finalize the budget! Looking forward to a lively discussion.
