Another fun contest the ARRL DX CW is fast approaching. February is always a tough month scheduling and preparing for multiple big contests. I am now getting ready and looking forward to chair time this coming weekend. W1DX will be active as a Multi-2. Don’t be shy. All members invited!

Good Luck to all in the ARRL CW this weekend. Under the weather so little participation expected at this end. Glad to see good participation at the Jan meeting in East Bay. Was on vacation so couldn’t make it.

Hey Jim: Doing S&P on 20 meters, I started at the bottom end tuning up. When I got to 14.111 an hour and a half later, I heard you running. Did you get a nosebleed yet ? [not to make light of your being under the wx]. I kept working my way up and stopped at 14,122…and I was still hearing stations in the contest. Amazing!
The bands have very little noise. Signals on 160M last night were amazing. Many EU 100 watt stations were cqing.
