I for one will continue as TREASURER.
My campaign platform: Back to Basics to refocus CTRI to contesting & contesting strategy / tactics.
Calling all CTRICG members!
Please consider running for office. The positions don’t require a lot of work (I’ve done them all, so I know), but you can make it your own and spend as much time on it as you wish. Plus, it’s a great way to give back to the membership.
All positions are open for nominations every year. Yes, you can run against an incumbent. The positions are:
President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
Contest Manager
I am not running for Secretary this year, so please consider it. Generally, the Secretary takes meeting minutes and is supposed to file our status with the state of RI (but Mike, NG1M has been graciously doing it). The Secretary may be “assigned” or volunteer for other duties, but it’s not a lot of work. A ham club is supposed to be fun, and I’ve had fun in all the positions!

I’ll put my name in for a second term as president, and I support the “let’s focus on contesting” platform.
Hi All –
I very much welcome other members who may be interested in running for the above indicated positions, including my current V.P. position. I will, however, certainly consider continuing serving CTRICG as V.P. if there is little interest in the position from others.
I continue to proudly indicate CTRI Contest Group in my many State QSO Party and other contesting event log submissions!
